Creating a wedding dress is a long and individual process, usually taking between two and six months. Each dress is made for one particular bride, so it matters to us to have enough time not only to sew it, but also to search for the right silhouette, construction, fabrics and details.
If you are planning your wedding for 2027, we invite you to book a consultation in advance — that way we can plan the whole creative process calmly and reserve the date of your celebration.

First consultation
Everything begins with a meeting at the BELTED studio.
During the first consultation we talk about your vision, the style of the wedding and the dress in which you would like to see yourself. We discuss the silhouette you want, the fabrics, the construction, the budget, and how the garment could best adapt to your figure and bring out its proportions.
We also plan the individual course of work. We take into account whether you live in Vilnius, another city or abroad, how many times you can come to the studio, and how much time we have until the wedding.
After the consultation we provide a preliminary estimate for the project.

Reserving your date
Once you decide to create the wedding dress together with BELTED, we sign a service agreement that clearly describes the whole creative process and the order of work.
When the agreement is signed, a 10% deposit of the estimated project cost is paid. From this moment the date and place of your wedding are reserved in the BELTED production schedule.

Design and fabrics
After the New Year we meet once more and return to the chosen vision of the dress. Ideas can change or clarify in the time before the wedding, so before ordering the fabrics we review the design, the proportions and all the important details again.
Then we begin the search for fabrics and place the order.
By the 1st of February the fabrics needed for each bride's dress are ordered. At this stage the second payment foreseen in the agreement is made.
Once the fabrics arrive, if you are able to, we invite you to see them in person at the studio.

Construction and fittings
The active stage of constructing and sewing the dress usually begins roughly 1–2 months before the wedding.
Then the fittings begin, and we do not limit their number in advance. We meet as many times as it takes for the final result to be the one we are aiming for together.
At each fitting we assess not only the size of the dress, but also the silhouette, the proportions, the construction and the overall impression.

Handing over the dress
The final payment is made when the finished wedding dress is collected — when the result satisfies the bride, and from our side the piece is technically complete and meets BELTED quality standards.

Prices
The price of each wedding dress is calculated individually. It depends on the chosen construction, the fabric and its quantity, the size of the dress, the finishing and the complexity of the design.
